Have you ever wondered why so many football players get concussed every season, or how a concussion even happens?  According to Mayo Clinic, “Concussions usually are caused by an impact to the head or body that is associated with a change in brain function.”  Many players in the NFL experience this pain as they are always getting knocked around by the tackles from other players.  One quarterback known for getting them is Tua Tagovailoa.  He has had four concussions in the last six years.  When things were starting to look up for the Dolphins after a trade with the Chiefs gaining Tyreek Hill a star Wide receiver, Tua got a second concussion.  But there are bright sides, the NFL is currently working on new helmets for players that are safer and more comfortable, “the addition of a quarterback-specific helmet follows the introduction in the 2021 season of an offensive and defensive linemen-specific helmet (Mayo Clinic).  These new specific helmets will greatly help as linemen get hit differently than quarterbacks.  Just a few weeks back, Tua got his third concussion possibly ending his season.  His future in football is unknown.  What do you think?  Should the NFL be stricter with quarterback sacks and protecting the quarterback?
